If I call this story Blue Sky Mine, only the Aussies will get it, won't they?

(It's a song title of Australian band Midnight Oil.)

::raises hand::

Non-Aussie here, but I'll get it on account of my age I think.

I still have Diesel and Dust, Blue Sky Mine and Earth and Sun and Moon. In cassette tapes. Which my husband and I sometimes play on the road as part of our incidious agenda to foist my generation's music on my children. ;-)

This is for the Illyria fic, right?

I started a reply re. the google incident in China, but then I realised it was too long and bordering on muddling your space. I may have been carried away, so I moved it to my space. :-)

Your Illyria fic is much awaited. Our patron saint of librarian must be fun to write. I wouldn't know of course, but she sure is fun to read.

Hey, I saw Colin Hayes earlier this year, in Montgomery, Alabama. He's singing solo these days. He still puts on a good show.

Yes. At least as far as I'm concerned. Not that I consider myself to have a representative knowledge of modern music. You could maybe give an explanatory note if the title is important to you?

Well, I’d get it as well – but NZ isn’t exactly far on the global scale of things, is it?
