Righty-ho

Well, I'm having a furiously busy week but at last I can get back to writing. If I don't get the Illyria fic done by Writercon, I'll post it piecemeal. This is quite likely, as it's turning into a much longer story than I had originally anticipated.

I told [livejournal.com profile] caille that I was intending to move slowly away from BtVS fandom, but it's clear that my pace will be glacial. After the Illyria fic, I need to work on a Giles one and the two could well keep me writing until the end of the year. Even then, if I decide to work on my "original" fiction again, I won't be deserting the fandom, but it will probably take the form of "hanging out with my friends" rather than intense discussion of the series. I don't want to lose contact with people I like just because a TV show's been cancelled.

Reminder: I'm posting about non-Whedonverse stuff on another LJ now.If you want to read that one too, go here. If you can't read that post, leave me a comment and I'll sort something out. The only reason I'm being even slightly secretive is because my real name is known to all and sundry on the other LJ.

Well, I'm glad to know that you'll still be in the fandom at least until the end of the year. I still regard your Spike in Uganda story (the name of which escapes me, and I'm at work so can't check) as canon.

Spike was not at all a well vampire in your story. It's no wonder he's forgotten all about being on a plane before. Not lying, just in total denial.
