Well, I'm having a furiously busy week but at last I can get back to writing. If I don't get the Illyria fic done by Writercon, I'll post it piecemeal. This is quite likely, as it's turning into a much longer story than I had originally anticipated.
I told
caille that I was intending to move slowly away from BtVS fandom, but it's clear that my pace will be glacial. After the Illyria fic, I need to work on a Giles one and the two could well keep me writing until the end of the year. Even then, if I decide to work on my "original" fiction again, I won't be deserting the fandom, but it will probably take the form of "hanging out with my friends" rather than intense discussion of the series. I don't want to lose contact with people I like just because a TV show's been cancelled.
Reminder: I'm posting about non-Whedonverse stuff on another LJ now.If you want to read that one too, go here. If you can't read that post, leave me a comment and I'll sort something out. The only reason I'm being even slightly secretive is because my real name is known to all and sundry on the other LJ.
