Breakdancing (1980) Factory worker Joey (Aaron Echolls) finds escape and romance in the breakdancing clubs of central LA. Olivia Newton-John is the tough cop who wants to shut the scene down.
Coffee Break (1982) Feisty tea lady Goldie Hawn charms her way up the corporate ladder. A young Aaron Echolls co-stars as the naive son of the company's boss (Anthony Hopkins).
Breakthrough (1985) Rugged oncologist Dr Casey Hills (Aaron Echolls) discovers the cure for cancer and goes on the run from a pharmaceutical company's contract killer (Johnny Depp). Appealing action thriller co-starring Kim Basinger.
Even Break (1985) An FBI officer (Aaron Echolls) uncovers a deadly Soviet conspiracy. Echoll's steamy scenes with Lynn Lester (as Olympic gymnast Natasha Petronva) reportedly ended the actor's first marriage.
Breakdown (1988) A NASA mission to Saturn goes horribly wrong. Stars Sean Connery and Aaron Echolls.
Breakwater (1991) Jack Nicholson dominates this film as a serial killer striking a sleepy Massachussets town. Aaron Echolls is the single father struggling to protect his small daughter (Christina Ricci).
Reality Break (1992) Aaron Echolls may have the lead role in this futuristic thriller based on a Phillip K Dick short story, but the real stars are the state-of-the-art special effects.
Ice-breaker (1994) An implacable Norwegian sea captain (Aaron Echolls) follows his wife's killer (Jean Claude Van Damme) to the Arctic circle.
Break-in (1997) Two rival con-men (Eddie Murphy and Aaron Echolls) put aside their differences to pull off a jewellery heist. A buddy-movie-meets-crime-caper that never takes off.
Break of Day (1999) Her marriage failing, a middle-aged Englishwoman (Emma Thompson) seeks solace in Tuscany, where she meets a handsome American (a miscast Aaron Echolls).
Breakout (1999) Two con men, reunited in prison, plan an elaborate escape. Listless sequel to Break-in starring Eddie Murphy and Aaron Echolls.
Breakfast for Seven (2001) A confirmed bachelor (Aaron Echolls) becomes the legal guardian of six kids when his sister goes into rehab in this made-for-TV movie. (A proposed follow-up series never went into production.)
Gimme a Break (2001) Forced, unfunny remake of the popular Eighties show, starring Aaron Echolls and Queen Latifah.
Spring Break (2004) Three students vie to be the first to seduce the virginal daughter of the college dean. Lacklustre teen comedy starring Malc Casablancas and Janine Lipschitz, with Aaron Echolls as the Dean.
Breaking Point (2005) A team of ex-cons take on an army of vampires in a secret underground war. Stars Kevin Bacon, Wesley Snipes, Aaron Echolls and Jennifer Garner.
Clean Break (2007) An aging hitman recalls his failures and successes. Violent, melancholy and haunting, this was the movie that resurrected Kevin Costner's career. Trivia note: Tarantino originally wrote the role for Aaron Echolls, but the script was unfinished at the time of the actor's arrest. Co-stars Uma Thurman and Drew Barrymore.
Snakes on a Break (written 2008) Only the hardiest fans of the "Snakes On" series will want to seek out this script, copies of which can sometimes be found on the Internet. Commissioned but never put into production, this was written by the actor and murderer Aaron Echolls while in jail.
