Despite my avowed intention to slink off, I have still been intermittently working on my Giles fic because, apart from anything else, I promised droneish. A few weeks ago I spent a weekend writing several thousand words which I discovered tonight had been overwritten during an over-zealous backup attempt. Disheartened but persevering, I started this evening to edit what I had left, only to have my new text editor crash and lose all my changes.

*bangs head against wall*

I hope so. I came up with another couple of cool incidental characters at work. And the SO will be fencing all weekend, so I should have time to work on it.

I agree. It's horrible - the sort of thing that does make you feel like giving up.
