indriI've been pulling my energies out of Buffy fandom for a while as I'm slowly getting involved in activism instead. (I'm also trying to get back to my non-fanfic fiction.) I'm still reading LJ and want to keep in touch with everyone but I've very nearly stopped reading fic, even by authors whose work I much admire. I'm sorry. No doubt I'll come back and binge-read when I must.
I started watching Buffy because I just wanted to see the forces of darkness trounced every week as I slogged my way through my studies, especially when my SO fell steadily more ill and then went through (successful) treatment. But I have a little bit of time and energy now that I want to put in another direction.
It looks like it's going to take days to sort out Ohio.
