The most popular page on my website is the recs page but I haven't updated it for some months. But in case others may find this useful, makd has been posting a wide range of recommendations on her LJ.

Thanks for pointing me to this, and I've been reading Makd's Angel in Manhattan posts. I love LJ! Reading people's Memories is how I find most of my fanfic reading (and flist).

Hey, one could write a parody of "I Love LA" and name the flist
and communities, with the refrain, "I Love LJ!" Definitely. Have. Too. Much. Time. On. My. Hands.

I know you're away from the Net right now, but I've been meaning to ask you whether you'd like these lists put up on a website. I'd be happy to put them up on my site, although I'd need to check with the admins first as it's a space I share with others.

Being that you share the space --- I wouldn't want you put out. At the same time, if they are ok with your doing this, why not? It would spread the word about good fic and that would be wonderful, thank you!!

I just picked up my repaired computer last night, and I'm trying to get caught up with LJ. It's gonna take awhile, I know. (And, really, this is such an improvement; I hated using hubby's pc; it's got a little teensy screen, and his settings, and grr. argh. I hated it! In a happy place now.....;-D

Can't sleep, so decided to open hubby's computer and check on unanswered LJ comments. Found your tip on the fanfic book, and followed it. Looks like a Maybe.
