indriI found an excellent site about downtown Los Angeles, complete with promotional video! Maybe I'm a sick puppy, but after "Harm's Way" and "Not Fade Away", I find the peppy music just hilarious.
When you think of LA, what comes to mind?

Edited to add: Thanks to my correspondents, I now know that there are two plausible locations for the Hyperion. The building used for exterior shots is at 4121 Wiltshire Boulevard, about 6km west of the Financial District. The other possible address is 1121 S. Main Street, just south of 11th St at the edge of the Garment District. I'll probably pick this location, because it sounds like a better places for all those dark alleyways. So now I can work out where the gang bought Chinese food and where Fred picked up her tacos.
Oh and here's my useless fact of the day: the deserted mansion occupied by Angel, Spike and Dru in Season 2 was designed by Frank Lloyd Wright. No ordinary abandoned mansion for our vamps!
