That was really bittersweet. I'm not sure if I liked it or not ... but it was certainly well written.

There's not much room to move, but they're limber. - That always makes me think of Sid from The Puppet Show: "limberrrrrrr". *shudder*

The ending was lovely - nice to know that the dead are remembered, even if it is by vampires.

I think if I read it as someone else's work, I'd feel the same. I find the objectification of Harm distasteful even when I do it myself -- I don't know if that's what puts you off a little.

The first draft -- ugh. Deeply unpleasant in fact.

In 100% agreement with you about Sid, BTW. If I were Buffy I might have threatened him with a chisel.
