I am so going to regret this. I should be writing fic, not hanging around on LJ. And I only just went cold turkey on All Things Philosophical About BtVS and Angel the Series. Argh.

If I've added you to my friends list it's because either I enjoy your fic or I've heard of you from the BetterBuffyFic mailing list. On rare occasions, we may even have corresponded. Feel free to ignore me---I probably won't often post.

Hi Indri :D Good to see you around.

I, unfortunately, don't update my journal much either. I intended for it to be a recommendation log of sorts, but considering I've read almost nothing in the last few months it's kind of empty. Although I have read a few stories I mean to post about.

I like being able to browse my friends list to get an idea of what's up on a variety of topics. I like being a big geek and having the whedonesque and sciam feeds in my friends list as well. I do prefer a board format for real discussion, but this definitely has its place.

You'll find LJ a great alternative / addition to BetterBuffyFic for hearing about new and great fics. As well, I just took a peak at your new recs page, and can answer a few questions. Wisteria's site is down temporarily; she had missed her payment date and hasn't quite reorganized. Psyche's site is down, with non-responsive technical problems. You can always check the status via http://patterner.de/

Whedonesque looks spoilery. I'm still annoyed that some events in "Chosen" were rather blunted for me because of the well-known Angel Season 5 casting spoiler.

Me too. I really didn't want to know about it, but it just got too hard to keep under wraps.

Whedonesque does get spoilery on occasion, but if you're using the RSS feed it always says SPOILER! in the subject title, and the descriptions themselves are rarely spoilery. If you use the site, you can register and block the spoilers totally. I'm thinking of asking them if they'd consider making a spoiler free RSS feed.

There's a number of sites that have created feeds for other sites. Of course, I don't have my bookmarks with me, nor do I have time to look them up. If you can't find the feeds you want on the site itself, take the time to look around. Unfortunately, if they're not convenient and popular, they're expensive to use on the free account. I've been seriously contemplating getting a paid account just so I can pick up local/national/international news through my friends list.
