Back in the mists of time, when I first started reading fanfic. I found a bunch of websites. Some of them housed stories that confirmed all my deepest prejudices against fic. But two of the first sites I stumbled across persuaded me that fanfic was a Good Thing. One of them was Fists and Fangs and the other was Nauti's site. (Thank you jess79 and nautibitz!) So I am very pleased to be part of the reborn website.

I seem be on a bit of an upswing, yes. And I'm very glad the bar tab is virtual :)

The piece being archived is "DeNile", oddly enough. I say "oddly enough" because I do think of F&F as being an archive of darker fic. I don't know if the new archivists have read any of my other work; apparently "DeNile" was reccommended to them by the guy who runs the Joyce website JOYFFA.

As for "Descent", I'm still working on the scene which you felt disrupted the pacing. My evening engagement has been cancelled so I hope to polish things off tonight, all going well. Thanks again for the beta.
