And if anyone can think of a better title for it than "Ethan Rayne Versus America", I'd be very grateful. It was the working title for the two years I had the story in my head.
I loved the title! It works, it packs in a lot of ideas and it is also quite funny in a poignant fashion which perfectly matches the mood of the piece. Obviously it wouldn't work if you wanted to sell the movie rights (they would change it to just 'Ethan') but as a title for a short story it is great.
