Two fanfics
Sep. 14th, 2010 10:26 pmI will shortly start to post two fanfics. Halfway There is a novella-length work concerning Giles in Season Seven; its first chapter was published some years ago now, but it is finally complete. The second work is a novel, In the Morning of the Magicians, about Giles and Ethan during their "electric Kool-Aid funky Satan groove" year, back in the early seventies.
I'll be publishing these in instalments on this LJ. Once a whole fic has been published here, I'll post a complete version on my website.
These are not WIPs. They have been drafted in full; I intend to do some line-editing as I go, but I don't intend to make any major structural edits which would substantially delay the posting of instalments. The novella has been revised with the aid of betas (many thanks to peasant_, shapinglight and revdorothyl) but I cannot bring myself to impose on any of my friends to the extent of a ninety thousand word manuscript, so it will be published here unbetaed. As always, I welcome constructive criticism. Any simple errors in grammar, fact, internal consistency and style will be corrected once they have been pointed out.
If you enjoy them, please mention them to others. I've been so sporadic about writing fanfic in recent years that I worry that I'm writing for an audience of six these days.
