Nigh obligatory Friending policy post

I've just done a bit of spring-cleaning around this LJ, reorganising Friends lists and so on. Most of the reorganisation is invisible to everyone but me; the key change is that I've set up a filter which makes it easier for me to keep up with people who are only on my indri Friends list.

I've added a couple of people and removed others. Those removed haven't posted this year, have interests which have diverged from mine, or post primarily in languages I can't read. I don't remove people who comment on my LJ, as this is akin to cutting people off in the middle of a conversation and is not to be done lightly.

If I've made a mistake and have de-friended anyone I shouldn't have, please let me know. Also note that there will be no Friends-Locked posts here in the future anyway. Or such is my intention.

Anyone who wants to Friend my other LJ, where I post on such enthralling topics as "What I Did on the Weekend", "Interesting Pieces of Seaweed" and "Gossip about People You'll Never Meet", should send an email to archaeoindri@yahoo.com. Don't say I didn't warn you.
