the First Evil sounds quite accessible, an entity whose actions and motivations are fathomable by both the protagonists and the readers
From what we saw of it, it was neither omnipotent nor omniscient; it was fallible and sometimes petty. It also seems to have had a single, intelligible intelligence.
I think some people attributed to it powers it didn't have, which means that it was good at propaganda :)
