I had much love for Scott Bakula when he was in Quantum Leap

Ah! I am glad to hear this, for the sake of the Scott Bakulas of the world. Also, if we all had the same tastes we'd run out of strawberry icecream.

(I haven't seen American Beauty, which may be part of the reason why I do not properly appreciate Mr Bakula.)
