A gentle slope downhill
Jun. 14th, 2004 02:20 pmSo I get up at a reasonable hour on a public holiday Monday, thinking I have the whole day in which to write, a rare treat.
I decide to start by rewatching "Time Bomb" and making more notes on Illyria, but it seems that my CD of the last six episodes has been damaged and won't play.
Then I sit in front of a blank computer screen for a good while, trying to write, but without any success.
I look out at the sunny blue sky, thinking, maybe I should just go for a walk to the beach or the Botanic Gardens and call it thinking time. Then it starts to bucket with rain.
Housemate-theViola-Player is out there in the rain, doing marathon training. Housemate-the-Pianist is collecting her from the beach in a while. I could go with him and at least see the sea, even if I don't do any walking. Or I could try very hard to get something written down after all.
