Thanks. In some sense, I've written the first half of this before, with Spike going mad in "Descent". In this one I wanted to write the more difficult part where someone is going sane. The probably-abandoned Dru story had elements of this, interleaving two timelines with a post-Fade Away world overview, all told from Dru's hard-to-parse POV, so it was perhaps a tad over-ambitious. I'm still wondering if I can salvage bits of it though.
